Showcases XIX
|
This vitrine presents ironware and moulds to cast
such artefacts as well.
On the left, you can see blacksmith's and
metalworker's tools, and in the middle are lead blanks and ring sinkers. Window
frames were bound in lead; lead was also used for sealing vessels with incense
and medicine, fastening architectonic members, casting moulds for jewellers.
Magistrates stamped there seals onto lead plates.
In the right part of the vitrine and on the
support in the bottom, you can see stone and clay moulds for casting products
of colour metals.
