Glasswork. It was the late fourth century when a glass-making shop was organized on the northern region of Cherson. Local glass was yellowish-green and included many air bubbles. The Chersonites constructed glass windows both in churches and dwelling houses. Window-panes looked like small square and rectangular plates or round disks 5-6 mm thick inset into wooden or lead frames. These frames were used to assemble the entire window.
